Ragù alla bolognese is one of the pillars of traditional Italian cuisine.
Tender beef, carrots, onions and top quality tomatoes: it doesn't take much to create our Bolognese sauce with an intense and refined flavour.
Like any self-respecting Bolognese sauce, Vestalia's follows a simple procedure, just like mom's recipes. It all starts with finely chopping carrots and onions, and then wiping them over a low flame with care and attention. After adding the minced meat, it's time to blend everything with white wine. Finally, we proceed by adding the tomato paste and puree. After covering everything, all that's left to do is wait; cooking is long, on a strictly very low flame. But without waiting, we couldn't guarantee you a sauce this good.
